To develop competencies based on the identified operational qualification needs, the following training measures were carried out and funded in accordance with the joint guideline of the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy and the Ministry for Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg.
The objective and expected results of these measures are to enhance the competencies of our employees in order to meet the continuously growing requirements. Well-qualified employees therefore form the foundation for the continued economic success of our company.

2024\u20132026 Productive Investment of SMEs (De Minimis); Expansion of the Capacity of an Existing Facility<\/strong><\/p>\n

The investment project aims to expand production capacities in the field of bonding technology through the acquisition of a semi-automated production system. By increasing the level of automation, productivity will be significantly improved.
The new system will enable large-area automated adhesive application. The investments made are funded by the European Union and the State of Brandenburg.<\/p>\n

Forster System-Montage-Technik GmbH is expanding its technological portfolio in the field of agile manufacturing technologies and is equipping a new bonding facility with exhaust air technology and climate control.
This enables us, on the one hand, to respond more quickly and individually to customer requirements and, on the other hand, to carry out specific bonding processes under constant climatic conditions in compliance with relevant standards.
The investments made are funded by the European Union and the State of Brandenburg.<\/p>\n

Smart Adhesive Bonding \u2013 Project 19I23012C
\u201cIncreasing the Safety of Sustainable Adhesive Bonds for Hybrid Lightweight Structures; Subproject: Extended Life Cycles for GRP Floor Systems through Sensor Technology and Artificial Intelligence.\u201d
The cooperation partners in this project are AI-UI GmbH, COTESA GmbH, Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU, iKTZ GmbH, and Kunststoffverarbeitung Hoffmann GmbH.
Adhesive bonding processes are frequently used to join hybrid structures, as the lightweight potential of the materials can be fully utilized through the material-bonded connection and the resulting uniform stress distribution.
The aim of this innovation project is to further develop the design, manufacturing, and testing of adhesive joints through the use of novel sensor technologies and methods of artificial intelligence (AI). By integrating the developed sensor technology directly into the fiber-reinforced composite component or into the adhesive joint, condition monitoring can be realized in the future.
The project is funded by the Federal Republic of Germany.<\/p>\n

kuBe-3D \u2013 Project 80261958
\u201cAdditive Manufacturing of Complexly Shaped Plastic-Based Concrete Formwork Elements Using Robot-Assisted Direct Extrusion.\u201d
The objective of this project is to apply a novel 3D printing process for the production of concrete formwork elements. Suitable materials for this application are being investigated and defined, and the necessary printing strategies are being developed.
By taking advantage of the increased design freedom offered by additive manufacturing, geometries such as rounded, semi-circular, and multiply curved shapes can be produced quickly and cost-effectively.
The project is supported with funding from the State of Brandenburg (Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy).<\/p>\n

2020\u20132024 6-Axis Extrusion<\/strong><\/p>\n

6-axis extrusion ZF4125703KO9: \u201cDevelopment of an additive robot-assisted two-component direct extrusion process for the highly efficient production of function-integrated, high-stiffness and heated mould tools for massive fibre-reinforced composite components \u2013 on demand.\u201d The cooperation partner is the Chair of Polymer-Based Lightweight Design at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. The aim of the project is the development and implementation of an automated additive manufacturing process for the production of self-releasing fibre-reinforced composite mould tools with integrated heating using an industrial robot.<\/p>\n

Services for market introduction KM4125703JA2: \u201cSupport for the commercialisation of the results of the R&D project.\u201d The additive manufacturing processes implemented in the development project have a high degree of innovation and novelty. In order to introduce this new service offering to the market, supporting consulting services are being utilised. The project is funded within the framework of the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.<\/p>\n
